I wanted to bring light hearted relief to my designs and this would be achieved by creating designs that were humorous, quirky and most of all fun!

Ultimately I envisioned making the kitchen a joyful place to be even when doing the most mundane things like drying the dishes and making a cup of tea, as this is after all the heart of any home.

The collection is entitled 'Kitchen Sink Dramas' and involves two main scenarios, a gang of bullies picking on a value tin of tuna and a charming elderly teabag retirement home.

Skills

• Excellent drawing abilities
• Can effectively use Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to successfully produce repeat pattern designs
• Brilliant eye for colour and detail
• Experimented with a variety of print methods, including both digital printing and various screen printing methods
• Works incredibly well under pressure
• Always meets deadlines and constantly strives to work to the best of my potential
