I have recently graduated from University College Falmouth with a First Class BA (hons) in Textile Design.

My work explores the use of illustration in mixed media textiles, with a focus on appliqué, machine and hand embroidery, and beaded embellishment. I am inspired by bold, vibrant colour, although also have experience in working with muted and subtle palettes.

My graduate project is a collection of fun and bright mixed-media fabrics to accompany a story about people and travel. Inspired by the heart-felt, quirky illustrations of Maira Kalman and Rob Ryan, this collection aims to evoke a human and humorous twist to textile design, in a fun, playful, and eclectic style.
