Cast hammers
I created a set of 9 hammers, each of which were made out of different materials, this was done to show how differnt an object could be once it is presented in an unfamiliar material. The idea behind the piece was to have the viewer touch and explore the hammers comparing each one. Now that the hammers all weigh and feel differnt it was important that the piece be could be touched.

The crates are to suggest that they are ready to be thrown away. Each of the individual vessels has been marked with a phrase summing this up, in essence making them individual.
