Wedgwood: Infinate Dreamy Blue
Float glass piece; poem written by Adam Rivers:
Dont smash your windows
To let in the sky
Evil men will do that for you
To fly as a bird, Or drift
As a cloud, Skytint your windows
And you'll be as free
As the infinate dreamy blue
Unique Manufacture
These are clear blown glass pieces made using a two part blow mould. I concentrated on the form rather than surface decoration. I made a feature of the apparent flaws shown with the glass escaping between the two parts of the mould to make each piece unique.
Frozen Movements
I explored influences to choreography and displayed them as silhouettes to freeze a moment in time to show the sequence of movements through each pose. This collection of three float glass panels has been sandblasted at different depths.
Musical Dishes
Ceramics piece depicting musical elements and influences from notation to instruments. The pieces are raku glazed and fired then displayed screwed to pieces of wooden dowel into a thick piece of wood, painted black with a mirror attached.
