Ruth completed her BA (Hons) in womenswear knitwear in 2009 at Ravensbourne, South London. After winning the 2009 British Fashion Council College Council and Warehouse competition she launched and sold her collection with showcases during London Fashion Week (Sept 09).

Ruth completed her BA (Hons) in womenswear knitwear in 2009 at Ravensbourne, South London. After winning the 2009 British Fashion Council College Council and Warehouse competition she launched and sold her collection with showcases during London Fashion Week (Sept 09).

Ruth went on to complete her MA at the Royal College of Art. Whilst at the Royal College working with and exhibiting at Pitti Imagine Filati in Florence. Leaving the RCA Ruth was awared the Loro Piana award for best knitwear collection.

Since graduating she has shown at ITS10 in Trieste and won the Skunkfunk Sustainability award, and is now working with them on a capsule collection for A/W2012, alongside freelance handknit designing for Rowan A/W 2012.
