For Fun- Hand and Lock 2011
The embellishments incorporate the mechanics of toys with embroidered print to create interactive fixtures that convey the impression of playfulness, endearing the viewer to laugh. This project was awarded 2nd place in the competition for Hand and
Jesmonite
Jesmonite shapes were cast and combined with digital and hand embroidery, sometimes overlaying printed vinyl.
Tailored to Interiors
These bespoke textile wall coverings incorporate miniature 3D collars, against pin-stripe and dog-tooth. The pieces are laser cut, flocked and hand-dyed structures made of wools and cottons. The flock has been digitally printed. The colours I chose were inspired by Ozwald Boateng's collections and the bold assemblance of clothes worn by members of Le Sape.
