The inspiration for my work is architecture; within textiles I have used architectural imagery to produce a collection of bags and scarves.

The inspiration for my work is architecture; within textiles I have used architectural imagery to produce a collection of bags and scarves.

By re-working photographs taken of certain buildings I have created new imagery to make an elegant but edgy outcome. 

The use of the laser cutter has let me produce texture using it to engrave and also to layer. 

Repeat is a running theme within the two areas, as within metal I have repeated the one shape, and have varied the size to create new outcomes.

I wanted to be able to sculpt around the shape of the body so I have created these pieces to structure it but to also complement it, I have done this by using natural curves within the geometrical shapes.
