Punk/Vintage Clash
Taking elements of punk such as:clashing colours, bold shapes, combinations of patterns and incorporating them with butterfly patterns, tropical florals, snake skin and elements of vintage eg: vintage jewellery and typical vintage patterns.
Barcelona Remix
I have created several fashion lengths taking inspiration from the incredible architecture of Gaudi. I went to Barcelona for my research and was inspired by Gaudi's use of shape and colour.
Make-do and Mend
I used my village Great Ayton as my inspiration, taking photographs around the village and in my own home. Also inspired by the attitudes of WWII of mending and remaking. I used print and heavy embroidery to express this concept.
Visual Communication
These drawings are from several different projects throughout my second and third year at CCAD. These pieces express my abilities in illustration and visual communication, and also in using different media and drawing techniques.
