I decided early into the experimentation with news paper that I wanted to produce modern furniture, to reform a material as delicate as newspaper back into a wood like substance was the ultimate goal.
This was achieved in the production of
Urbanisation.
This was the finished product resulting from my research into the impact Chinese culture had on Liverpool.
All imagery used within the textiles originates from photography around Liverpool's china town and Berry Street.
