I am a graduate from Buckinghamshire New University where I studied Surface Design.

My concept has been inspired the effects nature can have on the man made environment. This then developed on to researching floods and hurricanes and how can effect the home. The Japanese aesthetic Wabi Sabi has had a huge influence on my work and design style which in brief is about finding beauty in the unexpected, unpolished and inaccurate.

Using plaster and a wide range of techniques such as water jet cutting, laser etching, sandblasting, hand stitch, carving, drawing and water blasting and a variety of dye techniques I have created a hard surface interior collection which reflects water and wind damage, with the aim to find the beauty in the imperfect.
