Final Project
My final collection takes it’s fundamental inspiration from geometric forms and light natural textures. I wanted to create a contrasted mood with feminine softness combined with an armour of thoughness. Geometrics are inspired by Sonia Delaunays colorful sketches as well as Fernand Leger’s cubism paintings.
Heavy wooden beads are woven together to form strong geometric shapes. I combined them with irregular silk chiffon pleats reminding of fishtail. Prints and colors are a big part of the collection and I used silkscreenes to print the fabric. I used vivid colors to give the collection a light, girly and warm feeling. The collection is meant to have a young and feminine mood with a hint of elegance.

50’s feminine style meets the playful and sensual with an east exotic infusion. Vintage-like patterns printed on sheer, lightweight fabric and silk satin. Flowing prints were inspired by flowers and hummingbirds from a tropical paradise. As a contrast I used some geometric motives to add more bold feeling towards the sensitive and seductive atmosphere.
Colors are inspired by exotic fruits such as Apricot, kiwi, lime and orange and blend with more nude colors to give the collection a sensual hint. A collection for a woman who has a has a girly side to her feminine appearance. She is not afraid of colors and uses them to express her confidence. She is fun, flirty and free to do whatever she likes.
