I base the designs for my work around the imagery of an evident weight or pressure occurring within the material and the structure of the piece. I create a snapshot of dynamism, which illustrates the forces that are in action, encouraging the viewer to feel the energy of what is happening in the piece. I plan to move my work towards garden sculpture and furniture. I would eventually like to move into larger scale architectural work. My long term ambitions are to run my own forge with a public space attatched to hold relevant social and fund raising events as well as a gallery to exhibit my own work alongside other artists' work.
