The series of products are intended to shed light on the link between the products people use in everyday life and the principles of their packaging. Another key aim of the project is to make evident how packaging is intentionally designed to have an effect on the lives of consumers, whether this is consciously or subconsciously.

Consequently, Blast From The Past Tablets are posing a question about contemporary cultures unquestioning belief in the millions of products people purchase throughout their lives and to a degree, the blind faith inherent in consumer society for items people believe they need or items that will change their status.
