My inspiration for this collection comes from medieval armours. The main aim aesthetically for my jewellery was to make an intricate and elegant hand crafted collection whilst emphasising the beauty of the metal itself, as well as paying careful attention to the final finish of each piece. I chose to use silver because, its qualities as a material allowed me to achieve specific shapes, forms and eflections I had envisaged within the design process.  By choosing certain parts, curves and patterns, originating from medieval armours, I made informed decisions to create my jewellery collection, highlighting these elements in a contemporary and minimalistic way.  To give an extra element to the silver, I decided to use different colours of 22k gold plating and black rhodium.
