Specialising in woven textile design I have recently finished my studies at Nottingham Trent University.

I have used a combination of man made and natural yarns in my woven fabrics. I particularly enjoy using metals because of the sculptural qualities I can attain from the fabrics when they are off the loom.

The natural aspect of my weave is achieved through weaving softer yarns with the metals, using bamboo yarn has created this gentle element. 

My exploration of metals and bamboo was resolved in my final collection; I worked with the natural movement of wire, creating jewellery pieces that sit comfortably on the body.

I enjoy exploring and researching new and innovative materials and structures in weave and in the textile industry.

Skills: Good experience of Point Carre including Dobby Design and Point Carre. As well as Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
