Heriot-Watt University, SBC BA (Hons) Design for Textiles Recent graduate with 1st class honours, specialising in woven textile design. Menswear and interiors are my specialty. I use traditional techniques to create intricate, forward-thinking textiles with high sensitivity to market and end uses. Skills: Extensive use of Photoshop and Scotweave for design, and use of both dobby and jacquard looms. Achievements: Awarded the Lenzing prize for 'Best student on a textile course' in 2011. Awarded paid placement with Bute Fabrics in 2012 for an industry competition. Nominated for the Worshipful Company of Dyers of the City of London Prize for best use of colour in constructed textiles. Upcoming interview to represent my University and exhibit my work through Texprint in London, Paris and Hong Kong. Latest collection featured in Mark Eley's 'Hidden Stories' exhibition at the Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh. Exhibiting at New Designers 2012, stand T38.
