The print process to me is about exploring new and different ways of creating pattern.

I am interested by the way in which print can be formed and how combining different elements and types of design can affect its look, aesthetic and texture.

I love to learn and develop new techniques and try out different concepts to find unusual outcomes.

I am also very interested in the digital side of print design for fashion and how technology can push design in a whole new direction.I have been working on a collection for my final year based around the title of ‘status update’ creating fabrics for sportswear that combine and reflect status of the past and modern day.

I have created laser cut designs in neoprene that I have pieced back together to create designs that look like they are printed but are inlayed fabric.

The fabrics I have created move and act like they are one fabric but are created, in some, from hundreds of different pieces.
