I am a knitwear designer who loves to focus on textile development. My graduate collection is inspired by spiders, and the contrast the black widow spider’s strong, smooth and shiny exoskeleton, against its matted but delicate and beautifully structured web.
I enjoyed exploring the process of felting, as using this technique in knitting can completely change the fabric and give it a new structure and behavior. Combining with different yarns through weaving allowed me to explore different textures to inform the collection.

Hard working and dedicated I took part in putting together the graduation fashion show at the RWA, Bristol and worked as a team to organise model castings for the show.
