I am a Woven Textiles Designer specialising in Fabrics for Interiors. I am currently working hard for the chance to showcase my Textile Collections as well as seeking the opportunity to grow some experience within the industry.

This summer has seen my graduation from Winchester School of Art. My time at University has given me great knowledge of Woven Textiles, from the use of Harris, George Wood and Arm looms to Jacquard software and weaving. As well as hands on skills, such as dyeing and fabric manipulation, I have also developed great skills in presentation and research.

I have spent my time in between semesters travelling, most recently spending summer 2011 living in Cyprus. Travelling has broadened my knowledge of other cultures and my confidence in meeting new people.

In the past I have worked alongside freelance artist Frankie Creith completing various tasks including shadowing the setup of her gallery as well as trying out her own techniques of embroidering paper and textures with which to create mixed media landscape artwork.
