Ting Chen is a surface designer who works with soft colors, textures, and paper cutting. Her work has a strong sense of purity in its pared down, sophisticated linear and geometric patterns; a real airyness and elegance, which reflects her Taiwanese background.

Paper is her favourite medium. She creates her designs by cutting intricate patterns into it, which she then layers up with each other, and with her delicate watercolors.

Her designs can be used on many surfaces; from textiles or wallpaper to cards and stationary.
