I am proud of the practical and intellectual skills I have developed so far through being an Interior Architecture student in Cardiff. They give me a distinct way of thinking about how Architecture, Interiors and Design deal with our built environment. For instance...

...I am also a student representative for my year and for my course. So, I have plenty of insight into how committees and unions opperate; I can carefully chair meetings and think diplomatically; and I have been to UCAS fairs in Manchester and London to explain and arouse interest in Interior Architecture at Cardiff. In short, I always care about the community that I am in.
I have had a lot of fun being a student but I am getting eager to be involved in real projects.
I have been part of design teams in city offices, worked on building sites and even constructed grand tree houses, but over the last year I feel I have matured from a student or intern into a real designer. That is not to say that I think I have learned all that I need to know. Moreover, I am eager to begin a new chapter of learning in the professional environment.
