I believe that we are a fast moving ever-evolving society and I want my pieces of art to be exquisitely unique statements of beauty and function, a talking point of any room, to be enjoyed by all. 

I became fascinated by the material properties of metal whilst studying my Foundation at Plymouth collage of art, it was the sheer delight I found in transforming such a tough and heavy substance. It was this intrest that lead me into my apprenticeship in a bronze foundry.

I thrived through out the two years being involved in every aspect of the process, finally deciding to finish my BA in sculptural metals. During this time I did night school gaining my welding qualifications and knowledge of industrial fabrication.

It is this comprehension and dedication to the process that has allowed me to make my ideas real and my work of a high quality. The pleasure I get from completing a piece and seeing it in suite and the customers enjoyment is worth every early start and long evening in the workshop.
