University for the Creative Arts: Farnham Textiles for Fashion and Interiors BA (Hons) I am a hand-woven textiles designer.

I produce cloth that catches the light to enhance there structure and 3 dimentional qualities. I am inspired by silk cocoons, focusing on the wrapping aspects and applying this to the body.

I focus mainly on using woollen yarns, such as alpaca and lambswool to create comfort and warmth in my cloth. I also enjoy mixing other fibres which add surface texture to my weave, i most recently began experimenting with lycra.

My main inspiration comes from nature and organic forms. This also influences my natural colour palette sometimes using a tonal quality or very light variations in colour to enhance depth and shade. I also experiment with creating patterns that replicate knitting pattern structures.
