Cleveland College of Art and Design: Textiles & Surface Design BA (Hons)

I am currently in my final year at Cleveland College of Art and Design, I specialise in surface print for fashion fabrics; I enjoy experimenting with repeat patterns and placement prints, producing innovative and high quality designs.

I have a passion for hand painting; using dyes directly on fabric. I enjoy creating different patterns and textures that adds depth to my designs, also adding detail through the traditional methods of screen print.

My love for drawing lies within flora and imagery from nature, I do enjoy studying the features of architecture, anything that allows me to indulge in detailed observations. Working in black and white is a regular feature of my work as it allows for sleek, neat and crisp look.

I am keen to gain more experience in the Textile industry to develop my drawings and printing skills further. 

My dream is to have my own brand within the fashion industry; I am ambitious, hardworking and self-driven who strive to success.
