As a creative person I have found a love and enjoyment in materials and techniques, each material has different properties and characteristics. Learning these characteristics and methods of manipulating materials is what I like.

Through my degree I have developed a love for the material glass, as probably the most difficult and unique material I am likely to work in I think this will set me up for my future in the creative industries.

Although currently working with glass I plan to expand my range of materials, almost certainly to include metal, stone and wood to produce usable, functional, sculptural work.
