About:

I have recently graduated from University College Falmouth with a first class honours in 3D Design. My work is mostly focused on interior products, inspired by simple and functional designs which respond to a user’s needs. I strive to combine aesthetics with a need, which is discovered through intensive research into a particular user group. There is a sense of satisfaction I receive from designing a space or product, which I have not found in any other industry. From concept to creation, the process is inspired, transformed from a 2D visualisation into a tangible object or space. This commitment to materials and space is also demonstrated in my work as I aim to use organic materials in order to create prototypes. www.ruthvatcher.com
