Specialisms:
Ceramics/Jewellery/Glass: 3D DESIGN

London Metropolitan University
Jewellery BA

As an independent jewellery designer and creator, I produce both large and small-scale jewellery for the contemporary woman and the bespoke fashion industry.

My strong interest in the design for both fashion and architecture has been a fundamental part of my work. The combination of architectural forms, hidden inner structures and the fluidity of natural contours have been my main inspirations for creating strong, sculptural work that highlights the power of body adornment.

The variety of mixed media, allows additional flexibility in my range of designs. Using combinations of paper, steel wire, precious metals and others, enables me to create 3-Dimensional forms that focus on the quality of edge and line in volumes that sculpt around the wearer.

Work Experience for Jewellery:

Alexander McQueen, summer 2008/ Shaun Leane, summer 2007/ Kayo Saito, summer 2007 and 2008.

Working at Alexander McQueen revitalised my passion for innovative design and unique styles as well as becoming aware of how to commercialise bespoke designs, identify new styles and upcoming trends within the fashion industry.
The experience of working at a bench with Shaun and Kayo improved my jewellery making technique with greater attention to detail and the finished qualities of a piece which I can now relate to any product.

Achievements:
1st prize “Technical skills and Concept” Walsh & Sons award June, 2009.
2nd prize  “British Jewellery Association” award June, 2009.
2nd prize “Goldsmiths award for design and body of work“ June, 2009.

Exhibited in the Sir John Cass graduate degree show, June 2009.

Exhibited in the Craftsmanship Design Awards at Goldsmith’s Hall, London - March 2008.
