I have been developing my identity as a designer and have found that I design my best work when I have something to touch, drape and take apart, whether it is a garment or other objects. I am a womenswear designer but would be open to designing menswear, as I believe designing is my strongest skill and that is what I am most passionate about. I love the excitment of colour and the emotion that textures can create. I am also interested in creating different silhouettes and playing with proportions, as I like to change the human form to see what can still look desirable.

I have a good knowledge of pattern cutting, construction, tailoring and drapery; this knowledge helps me to think more 3 dimensionally and internally about my designs. All these skills have come together to form my style of work which I describe as being playfully elegant.
