BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON DAA

Ninette Murk - Thinking Your Own Thoughts from The Avant/Garde Diaries on Vimeo.

Designers against AIDS (DAA) was founded in 2004 with the aim to inform young people via social media about HIV/AIDS, explain how they can prevent themselves and others from getting infected and the importance of knowing their HIV status.

We do this by working together with fashion brands on capsule collections and by publishing cool stories (written ourselves or shared from other sources), photos, posters, videos, games, competitions and the like and to share these globally via our social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook…) and our website designersagainstaids.com. Check it out to see what we’re about, what projects we’ve done in the past and which brands and celebrities we have worked with.
