I am Jan Cichon, a product designer focusing on the intersection of nature, space, and material.
My work moves between conceptual design, material research, and ecological responsibility.
I seek design-driven responses to social and ecological questions, aiming to create sustainable systems and spaces in which nature becomes an active part of design.
My project "Green Facades" explores how architecture can reconnect with nature through design and material innovation. Using recycled brick dust and ceramic 3D printing, I created modular facade elements that support plant growth, store rainwater and improve the urban microclimate. More than a technical solution, it is a vision for a living, adaptable city where building surfaces become green ecosystems. The project combines ecological function, aesthetic quality and circular thinking into a facade system that invites people to see buildings not as static shells but as active participants in sustainable urban life.
