Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design Fine Art MFA 2020 students are exhibiting their work digitally while Europe is gripped by Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Fight Flight Freeze – Ferdinand Evaldsson's MFA exhibition from Konstfack on Vimeo.

Fight Flight Freeze by Ferdinand Evaldsson’s show features wooden reliefs that are carved by hand and painted with pigment and brass plate. The pieces explore perceived threats to life and violence.

An Investigation into Sleep Deprivation – Elise Léonin's MFA Exhibition from Konstfack on Vimeo.

Elise Léonin's exhibition, titled Deprivation, features eight screens placed within goods cages surrounded by broken pieces of technology including hard drives, cables and computers. Screens depict MRI scans and text in a retro-futurist aesthetic and emit varying layers of sound. The exhibit explores the concept of creating an art show and the relationships between creativity and sleep deprivation.

"After these words she was severely beaten..." – Mariia Kulikovska's MFA exhibition from Konstfack on Vimeo.

Mariia Kulikovska’s show, After These Words She Was Severely Beaten, tells the story of the character Girl X. The show features iron cast bells shaped like human bodies, featuring the faces of three generations of displaced people. Kulikovska explores themes of military occupation, dictatorships, power, censorship and rebellion. Another piece in the exhibition features paintings on papers obtained from immigration offices.

Konstfack will be posting more MFA digital exhibitions on its website.
