Above: We Are Open exhibiting designers 1. Urša Vrhunc/ 2. Kobeiagi Kilims / 3. Aklih/ 4. Dan Adlešič / 5. Andraţ Šapec

The Centre for Creativity, operating at the Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubjana presented their We Are Open! exhibition during this year's Milan Design Week at Ventura Future.

The exhibit featured the work of numerous Slovenian designers and furniture producers who explore the relationship between industrial scale production and self-employed artisans.

Among the exhibiting designers were Urša Vrhunc, who showed the Prised! outdoor table, Aklih studio showed their 3D printed Cup light and umbrella stand. Dan Adlešič showed a collection of playful and unconventional textiles and Andraţ Šapec produced by Donar showed the Collodi chair, produced using recycled felt made from PET bottles.

In addition, on show was the Emina, rug and cushion, produced by Kobeiagi Kilims - founded by Ivana Blaţ and Nina Mršnik, an architect from Bosnia and a designer and illustrator from Slovenia. The rugs are produced in Bosnia.
