Recent graduates from the Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) are exhibiting in a former bakery as part of this year's Fuorisalone of Salone del Mobile.
The exhibition, titled Missed Your Call, provides the opportunity for DAE graduates from 2020 to have their work viewed by the public – something which was unable to happen last year due to the pandemic.

Angéline Behr will show the Imaginary Flower Therapy project, a photography book that presents the emerging designer's own method for fighting stress and anxiety through floral compositions. Packing Up PFAS by Emy Bensdorp takes 'forever chemicals' that pollute landfills and other environments and uses the contaminated soil to create a ceramic material.

Boey Wang and Nanyoung Yoon both created projects that deal with the topic of anxiety. Wang's looks at how rigidity in life can exacerbate anxiety and so hacks four measuring tools to become more fluid and less confined to the laws of physics.

Yoon seeks to treat his own anxiety by creating a shelter that he can retreat into for relaxation and reflection. The Direct/Indirect project is a revolving shelf that makes use of mirrors to create optical illusions or form a barrier for privacy.

Reflective Compass by Maïté Denolf is an interactive installation made from rotating tubes of black vinyl behind a semi-transparent mirror. As the shapes rotate, the reflections become vague and ambiguous before coming back into focus again.“I hope this installation can cause people to stand still from time to time and take a moment to interact with themselves,” writes Denolf.
