About:
Hi I'm Hannah, I'm a 2016 graduate from University of Ulster Belfast. Born and raised in Derry, I was brought up amongst a creative family. I've always had a fascination for all things handcrafted, which I believe has led me to where I am today. The main discipline in which I work is fashion design and construction but I have also previously specialised in print for fashion. Within my work I always strive to creative something beautiful and original.
It started with the city and ended far, far away. This collection has been driven by innovation. Architectural shapes inspired by the built environment developed into the uniform of a futuristic extra terrestrial. Hannah uses various levels of translucency and layering, focusing on sculpted yet smooth shapes complimented by voluminous, textural soft pieces, all drawn together by striking a form fitting base layer hood. Refreshing shades of peach and cool greys in unlikely technical fabrics has created a playful take on couture with a sporty edge. Hannah’s natural and unrestricted approach explores the realms of unusual, blurring the line between fashion and costume.
