Hello, I'm Sondos TahanŲi am 23yers. I just graduated from Bezalel Academy of Arts in the Department of Jewelry Design. This is a great opportunity for me to participate and to be heard by experts in my field. My graduation project started with my passion for wood.5 pieces of jewelry and wood that mimic my love and passion for wood material because of its deep memories since my childhood, I took all the pieces put on the hand and each one is unique in its own way.

Project name:Between me and wood and metal Student name:sondos tahan Supervisor:Yaron Ronen On the project: In the project I examine my identity as a designer. I thought the identity was in my face , but I realized it was in my whole body, especially in my hand. From here I started designing a collection of objects that use my personal language, I start working straight on the material, researching it and experimenting with it, to formulate my ideas. I chose to design around my hand because it is an essential part of the project, in that it itself creates the works. My goal in this project is to create a harmonious relationship between me and wood and metal and create from them one piece. Materials:Mulberry wood, cherry wood, and metal (brass yellow). Working techniques: Wood carving, pouring metal into wood
