About:
Hi, my name is Marija Petraityte. I was born and raised in Lithuania. For past years I've been gaining my craftmanship expertise in fashion. I have sustainable fashion design at KEA - Copenhagen School of Design and Technology (Ap degree) and fashion design (BA) diplomas at Vilnius Academy of Arts. I am mostly enjoying to explore gartment's construction, form and textures. I am shaping my aesthetic around combination between deconstructed classic garments and inspiration from forms and textures found in nature. Calm distortion with little bit of provocateur and naturality feel. My expertises are mostly developed in pattern making, constructing, making prototypes and sewing - I am also enjoying doing that. Besides from my profesional skills I am very outgoing person and communication with others are my strong side. I am very determined and well planned person.

Short film is made to represent 'Distance from a point' clothing collection made by Marija Petraityté. Collection represents self-analysis path and how important is to analyses yourself and your work sometimes. Film is a small reflection of this idea - nomads are slowly traveling from one point to another, they stare at each other while analysing one other. At the end of the travel they see the gaint ring in a sky - this circle in film represents words 'the finding yourself in you'. They have reached another point in their personal journey.
