Arts Thread

I am a multi- skilled leader with a background in fashion and events. My professional experience spans over multiple industries such as hospitality, retail and arts education, but my passion lies in music and live entertainment. I have big dreams and am focused on developing a solid and successful career within the entertainment industry. I began my journey in higher education studying fashion and textiles design, my experiences there provided me with a solid foundation to build a creative career. In 2018 my career path changed when i started an internship at a talent agency in London. Here my passion for live entertainment was enhanced and I decided to pursue a career within the industry. I built a network that I was able to utilise for further opportunities during a deferral year. After completing a year working within industr, I began to apply for permanent roles, this process was hindered when the pandemic began, leading me to rethink my education, qualifications and experiences. I realised I would like to identify a role within the industry that combined my creative and professional background. I am now studying design management to enhance my skills and discover what kind of manager I want to be in my chosen industry and what type of role I would like to continue on after I graduate.
