Arts Thread

The police play an important role in society by increasing safety and reducing crime. In recent years, threats and violence against officers have increased significantly, leaving many feeling inadequately protected, not only at the workplace but also in terms of protective equipment and training. The vests currently in use are often poorly fitted, especially for women, as they lack space for the bust and create vulnerable gaps at the sides. This affects both safety and freedom of movement. My project, in collaboration with Snigel, aims to develop a vest that fits more bodies and contributes to a more gender-equal work environment, ultimately benefiting both officers and society.
