About

I am Anushritha Sunil, a human-centered Indian designer, and architect based in New York. I approach complex global questions by engaging a diversity of deep knowledge, untethered by conventional norms, and generate unique outcomes across various scales and disciplines. I am excited to be part of projects and understand the deeper human condition. Using an empathetic and vernacular lens, I want to advocate creating happier and healthier equitable futures.

Momi is an assemblage of performative lights and a sensory movement rug to facilitate embodied learning in learning spaces for children to think and learn using their bodies. The interactive light changes color in response to tapping sounds on its surface and the modular rug tiles provide a flexible tactile stage for children to move and be vulnerable. Momi enables interdisciplinary community participation in a wider system of education and child development by reimagining learning environments and proposing a tacit language of physical intelligence for dynamic future city design.
