An Autumn/Winter Womenswear collection inspired by the well-known fable, "How the Leopard Got His Spots" by Rudyard Kipling. Exploring the storyline through a collection of playful and textured prints, both screen printed and digitally printed.

Final Major Project A sense of freshness and playfulness will be at the forefront of this exciting Mother-Daughter Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Exploring the juxtaposition of the pebbled, beach-hut lined coast, and the endless green fields of the South Down’s against Brighton’s populated city centre. Growing up in Sussex, particularly Brighton & Hove, creates an exciting understanding of the beauty that nature holds and the contrasting urbanisation sandwiched between the beaches and the Downs. The collection will reveal a series of stories and personal memories; from day trips to the beach, picnics on the Downs and the bustle of people amongst the Laines. Each design will capture the variety in Sussex’s landscapes by extracting both organic and interesting shapes, alongside a variety of unique textures. The electric, exciting feel of Brighton & Hove will be visualised through nature, landscape, architecture and people, creating unique, fun designs, using a bold yet sophisticated colour palette suitable for both womenswear and childrenswear.
