Creativity and passion are key to success as a designer but these need to be combined with a practical approach to time management, budgets and sustainability. Having a British father and Thai mother allows me to visualize the world from two different cultural perspectives and to fuse the two together to create artworks which resonate across two continents while having a unique identity of their own. My father used to work within the commercial interior wallpapering industry. This was my first introduction to the world of design and print and created a passion within me for the creativity of prints. Throughout my childhood, I was constantly designing and drawing pattern. Most of my print inspiration comes from the likes of William Morris, Anni Albers an artist from the Bauhaus Movement. And in later days Orla Keely, who used her prints on various items which shows that print can be used on anything. I was intrigued as to how these sort of prints could be used for fabric printing and fashion design. I've just completed my course in Fashion Design at Cambridge School of Arts (ARU) #Classof2020! I'm very excited about my career pathway and my journey as a designer in the future that is waiting for me.

Celebrating childhood memories of a girl’s 20 year relationship with her toys, this streetwear collection evokes fun, naivete, love and freedom. 1990’s cultural references combined with childhood imagination and a selection of vintage toys, creates quirky shapes, bright colours and hand-drawn illustration patterns represent being, forever young.

A portfolio project targeted on market level and on one garment. I decided to base my project on All Saints brand’s aesthetics and chose to do an oversized t-shirt dress PLEASE NOTE: I did not collaboration with All Saints but it's a brand that I looked into and did the research for the project and use the brand's aesthetic as my influence and design. Collection Statement: Botanist collection is a graphic print-based collection by fusing analogue and digital techniques to create fine abstract imagery and moving image.   This includes experimental photography techniques such as moving the plants while the scanner is functioning. Also fusing light and liquid to recreate the colour, form and distorting motions. By using botanic plants as the main contrast and to represent the natural beauty, life and femininity.
