Take part in the Coloro competition to explore a new way of working with color and play with the Coloro digital workspace to see how easy and effective it is to amplify your color palettes. You could win Coloro products for yourself and your university, plus an opportunity for a Coloro workshop.
Coloro, the sister brand to WGSN and Cannes Lions, is a revolutionary system that is changing the way people work with color, based on putting the user at the heart of it. It is a refreshing, intuitive approach to defining and communicating color - the logic behind the system is based on how the human eye perceives color: by Hue, Lightness and Chroma. Based on a 100-year methodology (Munsell) together with 20 years of research, the Coloro logic can define up to 1.6M colors.
Coloro is easy and intuitive to use, and helps to ensure that the translation of color is smooth and successful. Using Coloro means that designer, supplier and manufacturer can be confident that the color they envision is the color that they get – the line of communication is logical and comprehensive. Coloro has more colors to choose from, and as well as being a reliable tool to select your palette, the system has analytical capabilities to help you assess your selection and understand your brand’s color profile, together with WGSN’s forecasted colors.
Coloro products are simple, but slick and beautiful to work with. As well as physical products showcasing 3.5k colors, there is an innovative free digital tool where you can navigate the extensive library of colors, explore the 3D world of color and create and save palettes; a veritable playground for creatives.
We will select three winners:
First prize will include a Coloro Toolbox (worth €5995) and an all-day Coloro workshop for your university class (usually exclusive to Coloro clients), plus a Coloro Codebook (worth €895) for yourself.
Second prize will include a Coloro Codebook (worth €895) and a Coloro Toolbox folder of your color palette using our polywatches.
Third prize will receive a Coloro Toolbox folder of your carefully selected palette.
All three winners will receive an exclusive invitation to a Coloro/WGSN trend talk throughout the year to include travel and accommodation where necessary.
We will share the winners and entries on Coloro social channels, blog post, Arts thread and in an email newsletter to the Coloro database.
WHO CAN ENTER
Location: International - from any country.
Experience/Age: Open to anyone over 18 who is enrolled on an arts & design a program of any specialism with an accredited college/university or graduated in 2017.

It is essential to understand and appreciate color as a discipline, and how affects every touchpoint in our lives – we know, for instance, that 70% of every consumer decision is driven by color.
We want students to reap the benefits of the Coloro approach to color and at the same time, think about the world around us; politically, environmentally and culturally.
We would like you to create a moodboard and palette using the Coloro digital workspace and relate it your discipline, focusing on one of the following 4 themes: Eco / Dark Fantasy / Generation x / Revolution
*You can use an existing project to rework into the palette/moodboard.
