Windows Open to the Sky is a NYC End-of-Year Student Design Showcase on show May 8-18 2021, presented by Design Pavilion and ARTSTHREAD in collaboration with NYCxDESIGN Design Days.

After more than a year of shut-down and remote virtual learning, we are thrilled to give an opportunity to design students to show their work and to the public to enjoy the sight of creativity through the streets of NYC.

Windows Open to the Sky

Visit Soho Design District to view unique installations created by the students and 2020 graduates of the Parsons School of Design MFA Textile Design department.

Look out also for the work of Yi Hsuan Sung who is one of the designers in our Hudson Yards NYC Emerging Designer Residency.

Also - check out ARTSTHREAD member Sagarika Sundaram, 2020 graduate whose Wool Brick is an alternative building material designed for the zero-carbon architecture and interiors. It is a modular textile that builds soft insulating walls, room dividers, tables and stools for interior environments.
