Design a male, female or genderless casualwear collection for s.Oliver and win an all expenses paid two month summer internship at s.Oliver HQ in Southern Germany.

THE BRIEF

  • s.Oliver are looking for a male, female or genderless casual wear collection of 5-6 pieces. These can be 2-3 T-Shirts and 2-3 Sweats (sweatshirt, hoodie, +), plus 1 or 2 pieces of your choice.
  • The s.Oliver iconic logo should be incorporated to celebrate the 50th Anniversary in 2019. Please note that the logo needs to be utilised in all pieces whether it is very subtle or very loud!!! Download the logo

  • s.Oliver was founded in 1969 by Bernd Freier as a small boutique in Würzburg. Named after the hero of Charles Dickens novel, Oliver Twist.
  • Over the last 50 years s.Oliver has developed into one of Germany's - and Europe's - leading fashion companies offering a range of fashion and lifestyle products for all ages.
  • s.Oliver currently has approximately 600 stores, and sell products in approximately 2000 shops worldwide. ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE

Your entry must inside these 3 elements -

  • Inspiration Create an inspiration board telling us more about your capsule collection and what inspired your collection. Bring your muse to life and show us how you approach the design process.
  • Exploration Create 5-6 sketches (to be uploaded) showing the product concept/the product ideas for each part of your muse's 24 day: drawings should be expressive and gestural in nature. Demonstrate your drawing skills and show us how you think.
  • The Final Look Choose your best product and render it in technical, detailed full colour. Include texture, prints, material specifications, etc. Bring your look to life.

THE PRIZES

  • 2 Winners will each receive an all expenses paid two month summer internship at s.Oliver HQ in Southern Germany.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Open to current students and recent graduates (graduated 2016 onwards) from European member EU states (including the UK).
  • Strictly open to designers who are not working in a full-time design position.
  • Aged 18+

COMPETITION TIMELINE

  • The judges will announce a shortlist of finalists the second week of March, 2019.
  • The finalists will be interviewed by the s.Oliver design team mid-end March 2019.
  • The two winners shall be selected and notified before April 1st 2019.
