Arts Thread is proud to be a partner of Texprint
The work of 24 newly graduated and exceptional textile designers selected for Texprint 2017 will be on show at Première Vision Designs in Paris this September.
Trained in Britain. The Texprint 50 designers (24 selected, 26 reserves) are selected following a rigorous interview process from over 200 applicants submitted by British colleges and universities at both BA and MA levels.
These are the designers who have shown outstanding work in their chosen discipline, and who impressed the Texprint interview panels with their creativity and desire to succeed in the professional world.
The final 24 selected designers are introduced to buyers, press and sponsors at the Texprint London event and at Première Vision Designs in Paris. The work of some will also be exhibited at Intertextile Shanghai in October. Texprint’s aim is to showcase the designers skills to the international industry while providing expert mentoring and support as they launch their careers.
Texprint is entirely funded by the generous sponsorship of industry and by British charitable foundations. Our sponsors believe wholeheartedly in supporting textile design talent and in encouraging design innovation and excellence.
Many Texprint alumni now enjoy high profile creative roles within the international textile, fashion and interior design industries.
