About
I am a recent Product & Industrial Design graduate. I have a strong interest in health-tech products and creating enjoyable user experiences across various domains, including interaction design, disability, inclusivity and ageing processes, and the development of products for everyday needs. I believe in inclusive and accessible design that caters to individuals of all abilities and ages. Working on projects addressing disabilities and ageing has been fulfilling, allowing me to develop empathy-driven solutions that empower and improve lives.
"Cool Flush" is a discrete drug-free solution to manage menopausal hot flushes. 4.3 million people are experiencing menopause. It is the fastest-growing group of workers. More than 80% of women diagnosed with peri-menopause or menopause experience hot flushes. Menopausal hot flushes hit unexpectedly and unpredictably multiple times per day, and whilst Hormone Replacement Therapy can bring relief, only 15% of people are taking these drugs. "Cool Flush" is a portable and discrete necklace which can be worn and used in various contexts, to provide an instant, drug-free, cooling effect, at the push of a button. "Cool Flush" brings back joyous and satisfying body interactions in the daily routine of managing menopausal symptoms, introducing more flexibility in product customization and the ways of usage.
