others to delve into new possibilities within themselves by exploring the infinite potential of material.Fueled by a profound passion for fibers, Andrea combines various techniques of manipulation, drawing from her academic research as a textile artist. Her creations resonate with a deep connection to her personal journey of spiritual discovery. Andrea Loyer’s work is rooted in the interpretation and combination of elements such as light, movement, and color, creating an ethereal aesthetic that distinctly represents her artistic vision.Through her pieces, she creates a narrative that invites others to share in the exploration of self and the boundless energies that shape our material existence.
bio-plastics: color, light & movement
The exploration of various techniques and mediums led to the creation of a material possesing malleability, transparency, lightweightness and color covenyance. Opted for a Bio-Plastic recipe, chosen for its compatibility with the project’s vision. Through a process of perfecting the recipe and understanding the material, a certain unpredicability and fluidity was captured, similar to auras. The sculptures mirror the fluctuating nature of auras in response to internal and external stimuli.
