About
I am a textile design student with a background in textile print design and printing. I have some experience with CAD software, visual communication, and pattern design. I do have a good eye for colour and detail. I am a hardworking student who likes to finish tasks promptly. I am responsible, kind, patient, caring and organized. I am willing to learn new things to develop my skills further. I am good at listening and following instructions. I can be shy at times but otherwise I am quite lively. My interests are fashion, textiles, pattern design, cooking and floristry. My career goals include textile design using traditional techniques and modern technology.
For this project I used natural materials to design patterns for surfaces. I went outside and collected leaves and things to use at work. I put some leaves and twigs into moulds and cast them in resin. I also did some weaving with twigs using found objects such as old cables.
