About

Hello!👋I’m a womenswear and knitwear designer based in Newcastle, with a strong foundation in knitwear and pattern cutting, and a passion for all forms of illustration. I (nearly) hold a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing from Northumbria University, which has equipped me with both creative and commercial insight. My work combines technical precision with expressive design, and I’m always exploring new ways to bring concepts to life through fabric, texture, and silhouette. I’m currently looking for exciting opportunities to grow and collaborate within the fashion industry.

Braeze is a luxury womenswear brand rooted in the art of crochet, which sources inspiration from the instinctual elegance of creatures in nature. From the intricate texture of an owl’s feathers to the fluidity of a feline, each garment channels the raw beauty and intricacy of the natural world, transformed into wearable statements through meticulous craftsmanship. By reclaiming crochet as a vehicle of couture, Braeze challenges outdated boundaries of femininity and luxury. Their slow-made bespoke garments are a bold contrast to fast fashion, creating a bond and a story between brand, customer, and garment. Through considered garment construction and utilisation of deadstock natural yarns, Braeze delivers statements which feel instinctual and refined. Braeze’s core brand centres around the connection between women and feline, and how this confidence can be translated into feeling empowered in the clothing they wear.
