Contemporary Peasantry: restoration of the whistled memory - From the countryside to home, this project explores a collection of 3 silver jewels in collaboration with Tous, honoring and vindicating non-verbal speech whistled as an internal code within the family nucleus, as well as the transgenerational transmission of this. The resulting object pieces seek to mold gesture the receiver towards them causing a reflection and curiosity about the feeling of preservation. The project is born from the desire to raise the communicative code used by my grandparents, honoring the practice, in recession worldwide, through a clear and protagonist concept and materiality as the textured gestuality of silver jewelry 95, in order to create a perennial exhibition footprint against the passage of time. Playing with the duality of the resulting pieces, in themselves expositive and at the same time wearable accessories, these are adapted to one of the most common garments in the farmer's uniform: the shirt. Making them thus close and adaptable to all ages, sizes and genders.
